Happy Birthday, Karoline Rose!

Oh, my sweet girl, I don't think I will ever cease to be amazed at the miracle of you. Whenever I remember that day four years ago (and I remember it nearly every day), I am showered again in the grace that comes with knowing prayers have been answered by a gracious God with a miracle beyond our imagining. And there you are, every day, gracing us again with the miracle of you. I love you so much, sweet girl of mine. I'm happy to be home in time for your birthday. I went upstairs just now to wake you with breakfast in bed and decided instead to let you sleep. I kissed your forehead and tucked a curl away from your face. Then I just watched you. I don't think I can ever get enough of watching you. It's going to be a beautiful day my sweet Rose from heaven.
